Simple sailing with ample horsepower is ensured with the design and strategic placing of the yacht’s hardware.
Hydraulic furling systems control the foresails – jib and genaker – on the bow. A large, self-draining sail locker with water tight bullheads make up the forepeak of this superyacht. To ensure a neat exterior, all of the mechanical equipment is hidden below deck.
This superyacht has a clean, minimalistic outer finish ensuring low maintenance whilst creating a light, welcoming atmosphere. Concealed by wide, open spaces, the underdeck storage serves both convenience and space as the foredeck is left unobstructed with abundant space for leisure and relaxation.
A Walk Through the SJ115
Designed with three main principles in mind: comfort, safety and performance. Marrying these three philosophies the SJ115 brings a new and unique flavour to the global super yacht waters. While a fantastic coastal cruiser (with its shallow draft hydraulic lifting keel), the SJ115 is designed & built to cross oceans. Neat central one-point line controls insure easy shorthanded sailing. Hidden line runs recessed and stowage keep the decks tidy of any ropes that a yacht of this size naturally host.
A hard top bimini coming standard provides an incomparable open-air central outdoor saloon. This provides a perfect platform to dine in luxury and comfort. Roll down canvas from the bimini allows guests to stay outdoor and stay dry when traversing the monsoons of the tropics. Eight double ensuite guest rooms provides space for up to 16 of your friends and family to enjoy infinite coast lines. Sailing across oceans in large groups with enough room to still maintain personal space and privacy is a rare gem the SJ115 offers. Neatly tucked in the aft of the yacht there are 2 crew cabins (double bunked), large galley (kitchen), laundry room and navigation station for yacht operations to run smoothly in the background. Safety onboard the SJ115 is inherent in its design. Raised gunnels and copious grab rails always an arm’s reach away will keep the yacht masters mind at ease when cruising with a full yacht. Clutter free deck space and well oriented layouts insures wellbeing while cruising, this is paramount when far out at sea. Stepping down through the main hatch you are immediately greeted by a large open saloon. A minimalist theme with tables and seating for up to 16 guests, bright white finish with soft wood accents. Plentiful portlights and sunroof hatches allow natural light to flood in.
Manufactured in full carbon fibre under the latest vacuum infusion techniques launches a light super structure for racing yacht-like performance. With its light construction and hosting a hydraulic powered lift keel it delivers exceptionally shallow drafts for a yacht of this size. Without compromising deep ocean safety, it can quickly lower its keel to full length for high stability mode. Performance hull with cruising comforts, the SJ115 is truly a sleeper racer that has exceeded its concept design ideologies.
There is no value placed on capability to cross the world’s oceans and explore the world’s idyllic coastlines.
